Maverick Saloon Santa Ynez for Live Music and Dining

For an evening that feels distinctly connected to the Santa Ynez Valley, Maverick Saloon Santa Ynez combines live music, casual dining, and a long-standing local atmosphere. Its rustic character and entertainment calendar make it a natural option after a day of wine tasting, a workday, or an evening with visiting friends and family.

About Maverick Saloon Santa Ynez

Maverick Saloon Santa Ynez is a longtime Santa Ynez Valley gathering place located on Sagunto Street. The saloon traces its history back decades and has remained a fixture in the valley’s entertainment scene. Its wooden interiors, vintage signs, memorabilia, horseshoes, and handwritten notes covering the ceiling give the space a distinctly old-school character.

Live music is central to the experience. The venue has hosted a wide range of performers over the years and continues to maintain a regular event calendar, including its seasonal Tales from the Tavern concert series. The venue also offers Sunday live music alongside its Sunday Roundup specials.

The food menu goes beyond typical bar snacks, with flatbreads, salads, burgers, sandwiches, tacos, steaks, salmon, and other substantial dishes. Families can also find a dedicated children’s menu with options such as chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and sliders. The venue describes its private-event space as an all-ages option for gatherings, while regular evening entertainment is better suited to guests checking the specific event schedule.
